Each child will be encouraged to get at least four bingos over the school year. It is my hope that through the selection of books your child will become a life long reader.
Written Expression - Through a Writer’s Workshop, your child will have the opportunity to write daily. In addition, we will be doing many writing activities across all content areas. We will concentrate on developing voice in our writing and using various types of figurative language to enhance our writing style. Grammar, punctuation, and spelling will all be taught within the context of writing.
Handwriting - Cursive writing practice will be given weekly and assessed using the weekly spelling tests.
