Welcome to Bradfield!
My name is Karen Cole and I am the administrative assistant to the principal. 2012-2013 is my third year at Bradfield, and there is no other place I would rather be! I am a native Oregonian, born and raised, but I LOVE Texas and love making it my home!!! My background is in business administration and finance, but I have also had the amazing privilege to co-teach Kindergarten and 1st grade, in addition to substituting K-8.
I have two beautiful daughters – Stephanie, who is 19 and will be a junior this year at Arizona State, majoring in criminal justice, and Alicia, 16, who is very excited to be starting her senior year of high school this year, planning to attend Le Cordon Bleu with aspirations of owning her own specialty bakery.
I have a few hobbies, my most passionate being photography – someday I hope to have my work in a gallery! I also love reading and writing, and have been working on a children’s book for the past year. Since moving to Dallas I have begun learning to Bass fish - it’s sure not like that Oregon trout fishing! You have to WORK!!! I love to travel and photograph new places and have a passion for U.S. History.
I am so blessed to be at Bradfield. I love being able to serve our students, families and staff. We have such wonderful people here, and I count it a privilege every day to be able to walk through our doors and see all of you.
I hope your year at Bradfield is wonderful!
