Bigfoot Convention
| Fourth grade Explorations students were invited to the Texas Bigfoot Convention in Tyler, Texas. Some Bradfield 4th graders accepted the invitation and had a great time. Speakers ranged from a forensic fingerprinting expert to an interesting presentation by Ian Redmond, field biologist, who worked with Dian Fossey and her famous gorillas. What a great way to spend a day just a few weeks before Halloween! |

Robotics, Rocketry, and Air Cars
| 4th Grade Explorations students gathered at Armstrong for Scots University, a morning of demonstrating their building/programing skills by completing the Robot Challenge, building/shooting rockets, and building/racing air cars. The morning started with an explanation of TAG Math and Explorations at MIS from Ms. Melody Fulbright, 5th grade Explorations teacher. At noon, students had lunch on the front lawn. Hopefully, new friendships were made that will carry on into their new lives at MIS. |
